Job Overview: A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced and highly motivated General Litigation and Product Liability Associate Attorney to join its team in White Plains, New York. Location:

  • White Plains, NY

Duties:

  • Handle general litigation and product liability cases from inception to resolution, both independently and with supervision.
  • Perform file review and legal analysis of claims and causes of action.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands, and other case-related documents.
  • Attend depositions, court appearances, motion practices, and mediations.
  • Prepare for trials and provide support during trial proceedings.
  • Conduct extensive legal research and provide sound legal advice to clients.
  • Retain and collaborate with expert witnesses.
  • Negotiate settlements and manage alternative dispute resolution processes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring compliance with all client guidelines.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal support staff.
  • Ensure all deadlines are met and maintain accurate records of billable hours.

Requirements:

  • Admitted to practice in the State of New York (NJ, CT, and/or PA admission is a plus).
  • Federal Court experience is an advantage.
  • 3-8 years of experience in general litigation and product liability.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in the State of New York.
