ProfileParalegal The candidate will support internal investigations program by managing the lifecycle of reported claims, completing investigations with respective attorney and drafting related documentation. Will manage ethics training program administered by the corporation including participating in course selection, managing course roll-out and related follow-up. Support trade compliance function including the quarterly disclosure process by managing anti-boycott questionnaire and related follow-up. Assist with third party due diligence process by serving as liaison for business and vendor providing third party review. Support the organization by overseeing the intake, organization and access of all corporate policies. Assist in preparation of legal documents specific to the compliance initiatives, general correspondence and special reports as needed. This includes producing information and reports by summarizing, formatting, editing, retrieving, copying and/or transmitting text, data, and graphics; drafting letters and documents; analyzing and collecting information; preparing draft polices and procedures as needed; and coordinating requests for signatures of company officers, and other documents, as needed. Complete other projects and tasks as assigned for the corporate ethics and compliance efforts. Provide administrative support to assigned attorneys and other members of the legal department by screening incoming telephone calls, scheduling appointments and meetings, preparing expense reports and making travel arrangements as needed. Maintain office duties as needed (i.e. mail, telephone, email, filing). Must have Associates degree. Should preferably have Bachelor's degree. Must have 2-5 years’ paralegal experience. Paralegal Certificate and Certified Notary Public in North Carolina is preferred. Experience in a law firm or corporate environment is desired. Proficiency in standard business software applications, including Microsoft Office; comfortable with learning new software programs is needed.
