ProfileCyber Claims Analyst Responsibilities: Responsible for analyzing policy coverage, drafting coverage letters, managing, monitoring and resolving first party losses and general liability claims asserted against insureds under Technology, Media, Entertainment and Cyber policies. Superior claims service is central to corporate culture and brand. An integral part of our in-house claims servicing team. Interact directly and daily with clients and business partners, so a passion for superior customer service and professionalism are key characteristics of the role. Responsible for triaging claim submissions, obtaining pertinent documents in conjunction with claim submissions, resolving basic claims, and acting as the first point of contact for claim inquiries and questions. Will be significant daily interactions with clients and business partners. Working directly with Claims Operations, Claims Analysts, and Claims Counsel to ensure superior claim service is provided to customers. Act as a first point of contact on various claims call and inquiries. Draft complex coverage letters including requests for additional information, coverage letters, reservations of rights and denial letters to clients and brokers across a variety of business classes. Actively monitor litigation and managing the deployment of local defense counsel. Review and analyze claim documentation and legal filings. Correspond with clients and external counsel to obtain timely status updates. Identify emerging liability exposures. Maintain electronic claim files. Identify and maximize claim settlement opportunities. Liaise directly on daily basis with outside attorneys, insureds and brokers. Manage opening instructions for the Media line of business. Manage and handle excess and bordereaux claims for Media, Cyber and Technology lines. Manage payment for our defense counsel and other outside experts for the above lines. Issue substantive coverage correspondence to our clients and brokers.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: 4 years of work experience as a liability claims analyst or adjuster, or a paralegal at a law firm with exposure to liability claims. An active insurance adjuster’s license issued by the State of Georgia strongly preferred. Experience with Cyber or Privacy Breach insurance is ideal. Highly professional with a passion for great customer service, including a strong ability to establish a positive rapport with clients, brokers and business partners. Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Team-oriented, with ability to excel in a collegial environment. Strong customer service skills are essential.
