Employment Paralegal The candidate will be responsible to helping to keep the company’s legal operations efficient and organized. Assists the in-house counsel employment team with management of administrative, pre-litigation and litigation matters, as well as external legal requests. Calendars/dockets response dates. Manages, tracks, calendars and files administrative claims for unemployment insurance, workers compensation, and wage garnishments. Manages discovery, filing, and administrative legal tasks. Thinks proactively about improving processes to help company’s legal operations continue to scale effectively with incredible growth. Liaises with other teams within the company and external parties to ensure efficient workflow and handling of requests.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years relevant legal experience including administrative, legal, operations, project management or other experience requiring attention to detail, event planning and time management. Strong oral and written communication skills. Exceptionally organized, efficient and articulate. Proficiency working in a Mac environment, and specifically with Google Apps, Dropbox, Excel, Outlook and Word. Should be a self-starter, be able to take direction easily, and have a good attitude.
