Duties

  • Represent clients in complex biotechnology patent litigation cases across various jurisdictions.
  • Conduct detailed legal research, prepare briefs, and develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
  • Communicate with clients to understand technical and legal issues, providing tailored legal advice.
  • Work closely with expert witnesses, scientists, and technical advisors to build compelling arguments.
  • Manage all stages of litigation, including discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and appeals.
  • Stay current on legal developments in biotechnology and intellectual property law.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of experience in patent litigation, with a focus on biotechnology or related fields.
  • Proven ability to handle complex cases and collaborate effectively within a legal team.
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Experience with federal court proceedings and knowledge of USPTO regulations.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic background, with demonstrated excellence in legal coursework.

Certifications

  • Admission to practice law in at least one . state.
  • Registered or eligible to register with the . Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is preferred.
