Senior Tax Accountant, International Tax Services, ITS Standard The candidate will analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine tax liability for an organization. Work on teams to support clients’ cross-border transactions and assess their international tax strategies. Advise clients on long-range tax plans. Advise management about tax strategies and issues. Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements. Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with team members with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services focusing on more complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues. Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Tax, Law, or a related field, and 2+ years of related work experience in income taxation; OR a Master's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Tax, Law, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience in income taxation. Should have 1 year of experience performing international tax compliance and consulting. Must have 1 year of experience in inbound and outbound transaction consulting, multi-national corporation experience, Operating Model Effectiveness (OME), foreign tax credit planning, and effective tax rate minimization. Must have 1 year of experience international income taxation, including relevant experience with large cross border transactions involving multinational companies or private equity funds. Must meet one of the following criteria: Active CPA certification or foreign equivalent; Sufficient educational/experience requirements (as determined by state Board of Accountancy) to receive CPA certification within one year of hire/promotion; or member of the state bar or foreign equivalent.
