Senior Paralegal The candidate will provide leadership and support in the areas of probate and guardianships. Will be responsible for: providing unsurpassed client service; tracking billable time in PCLaw; meeting with clients; maintaining good, consistent communication with clients; preparation of pleadings, accountings, and reports; tracking court deadlines; reconciling accounting information provided by clients; maintaining and creating systems; completing court filings and scheduling hearings; and, delegating administrative tasks to legal assistant. Should have 3+ years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or legal secretary (paralegal certificate is a plus); proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel); familiarity with structure and purpose of court pleadings and relevant documents as well as knowledge of how to locate local, state, and federal rules governing these documents; experience filing in superior court (including efiling in Pierce and King Counties); working knowledge of PCLaw, guardianships, and probates is a must; strong work ethic; excellent communication skills; passion for excellence and constant growth/improvement; ability to prioritize and work efficiently; self-starter; positive attitude; team player; heart for families and individuals going through difficult life situations; and experience supervising another staff member.
