- Seeking experienced M&A (Private Equity) Associate/Of Counsel for Dorsey & Whitney LLP in New York, NY

Responsibilities:
- Advise private equity firms and their portfolio companies in a variety of complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and equity investments
- Draft and negotiate purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and other ancillary transaction documents
- Assist with day-to-day requirements of private equity fund and portfolio company clients
- Experience with management equity arrangements and co-investment arrangements preferred
- Familiarity with PE fund documentation and structures is a plus

Qualifications:
- JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school with top academic credentials
- At least 3 years of experience advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies in complex transactions
- New York bar admission or ability to become admitted in New York
- Strong communication and writing skills

Salary Information:
- Salary range for this position is $270,000-$375,000+
- Pay is determined based on depth of experience in the practice area
