Legal Intern- Summer 2018 The intern will support the Projectâ€™s existing programmatic work on due process issues for noncitizens, immigration enforcement, and the immigration consequences of criminal convictions. Legal interns are exposed to a wide-range of legal research and writing projects including to amicus briefs, affirmative lawsuits, practice advisories, and training materials as well as legal support to grassroots and national advocacy campaigns. The internship is unpaid, but may qualify for law school scholarships. Excellent organization and communication skill is essential. Immigration law course or equivalent experience is essential. Administrative Law, Federal Courts, Criminal Procedure is preferred. 2L or 3L with clinical experience in immigration law and/or civil litigation is preferred.
