Seeking a Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience in commercial litigation. The candidate with Georgia Bar required. Must have experience with a broad range of business litigation, including financial services, insurance, real estate, construction, manufacturing, retail, transportation, energy, and/or government contractors. Must have experience with Financial Credit Reporting Act matters. Meaningful litigation experience in the following areas is required: responding to and issuing discovery, drafting motions and supporting memoranda, eDiscovery, managing productions, and creating privilege logs. Must have excellent academic credentials (prefer law review and/or judicial clerkship), and excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills. What I would recommend to anyone who may be reading this that is working for the law firm. Do whatever you can to change the pay scale and salary increase reviews to be one in which merit is considered rather than an employee's popularity.

Pros : Let's start with the good stuff. Everyone worked well as a group. We communicated throughout the firm when we had issues. We shared resources and I truly felt that we all scared about helping each other. We all wanted to see each other shine.
Cons : However, there was a lot of favoritism which led me to leave the firm. Advancements and salary increases weren't due to qualification, experience, or even how well we did in the past year. People were given salary increases greater than others just due to being a favorite of the head management. It was all politics over there. I wasn't as charismatic and personable as others, yet I was able to complete my job with flying colors. But because I wasn't as popular as others - I didn't receive great advancements in my pay.
