Profile

Legal Assistant Candidate will handle duties such as document preparation, filing documents with the courts, scheduling mediations, depositions and other events. Will handle: Setting phone conference and in-office meetings with attorneys, clients, etc. Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, etc. E-filing in Florida Courts Portal. Preparing files for all upcoming cases. Helping our attorneys with all aspects of Family Law Discovery.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: A High School diploma or equivalent coupled with 2+ years of experience working as a legal assistant or paralegal required. Family Law experience preferred. Basic knowledge of legal document terminology required; Knowledge of Family Law terminology preferred. Must have strong multi-tasking skills and be a proactive problem solver. Professional & excellent communication skills and phone etiquette. Independent and hard-working self starter who can effectively handle multiple cases. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to take direction. Trustworthy and dependable with the ability to handle confidential information. Warmth and care towards clients and others.
