In-House Paralegal / Legal Assistant The candidate will be reviewing laws and summarizing key findings for team. Will be undertaking in-depth legal research and investigations for internal and external issues. Management of legal projects including document review, preparation for trial/mediation/deposition, and binder preparation and maintenance. Helping with compliance issues and corporate filings as well as federal and state court filings. Preparing, sending, and receiving correspondence both within and outside of the company. Assisting in review and drafting of contracts, discovery, and motions. Organizing and maintaining agreements, files, and paperwork; scheduling and calendaring as well as other clerical work. Bachelorâ€™s degree is preferred. Completion of an ABA approved paralegal program. A minimum of 2-4 years of legal experience is needed. Knowledge of corporate compliance and governance as well as general civil litigation is preferred. Great verbal and communication skills; experienced in legal writing is needed.
