Legal Assistant Candidate will ensure client intake forms are processed correctly, proper management of documents in the firmâ€™s case management system, and complete various tasks to ensure deadlines are met. Perform assignments in cooperation with the attorneys and/or paralegal. Acts as office receptionist; answering telephones, completing client intake forms, scheduling client appointments, receiving and responding to all levels of staff and the general public providing information and assistance whenever possible. Input and maintain case information in case management database Drafting correspondence and requesting medical records. Filing, scanning and copying.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and accuracy when inputting information and scanning documents into case management system. Ability to prepare intake documentation, draft correspondence, answer telephones, schedule appointments and other administrative duties. Ability to work in both an independent and team environment. Highly organized and can efficiently handle multiple projects and responsibilities. Ability to professionally interact with co-workers and supervisors. Stellar attendance and positive attitude are a must. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe. Strong written and oral communication skills. Bilingual is a plus. Must have exceptional interpersonal skills, be self-reliant, a true self starter, and have a track record of strong work habits.
