Job Overview: A law firm in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Real Estate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in commercial real estate law. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing of commercial real property, as well as representation of landlords and tenants. The role requires outstanding academic credentials, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage complex transactions and legal matters effectively. NC Bar admission is preferred.

Duties:

• Acquisitions and Dispositions: Manage and oversee transactions related to the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate properties, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and protection of clients' interests.
• Financing: Represent clients in financing transactions for commercial real estate, including preparation and negotiation of loan documents and securing loans.
• Commercial Leases: Advise and represent landlords and tenants in commercial lease agreements, including drafting, negotiating, and reviewing lease terms and conditions.
• Land Development: Handle matters related to land development, including agreements with developers, builders, and third-party service providers, and managing land use and zoning issues.
• Condominium and Covenants: Address issues related to condominiums and covenants, including drafting and negotiating development agreements and enforcing community standards.
• Municipal Law: Represent municipal governments in matters related to real estate, including zoning, land use, and regulatory compliance.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to commercial real estate transactions and development projects.
• Client Interaction: Provide legal advice and counsel to clients, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
• Legal Research: Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support transaction and litigation strategies.

Requirements:

• Experience: 4-6 years of experience in commercial real estate law, including acquisitions, dispositions, finance, leasing, land development, and municipal law.
• Education: Outstanding undergraduate and law school academic credentials.
• Licensure: NC Bar admission preferred; must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
• Skills: Excellent written, analytical, and verbal communication skills required.
