Job Overview: A law firm in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Real Estate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in commercial real estate law. Duties:

  • Acquisitions and Dispositions: Manage and oversee transactions related to the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate properties, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and protection of clients' interests.
  • Financing: Represent clients in financing transactions for commercial real estate, including preparation and negotiation of loan documents and securing loans.
  • Commercial Leases: Advise and represent landlords and tenants in commercial lease agreements, including drafting, negotiating, and reviewing lease terms and conditions.
  • Land Development: Handle matters related to land development, including agreements with developers, builders, and third-party service providers, and managing land use and zoning issues.
  • Condominium and Covenants: Address issues related to condominiums and covenants, including drafting and negotiating development agreements and enforcing community standards.
  • Municipal Law: Represent municipal governments in matters related to real estate, including zoning, land use, and regulatory compliance.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to commercial real estate transactions and development projects.
  • Client Interaction: Provide legal advice and counsel to clients, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
  • Legal Research: Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support transaction and litigation strategies.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 4-6 years of experience in commercial real estate law, including acquisitions, dispositions, finance, leasing, land development, and municipal law.
  • Education: Outstanding undergraduate and law school academic credentials.
  • Licensure: NC Bar admission preferred; must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
  • Skills: Excellent written, analytical, and verbal communication skills required.
