Senior Director, Consumer Business Unit Legal Team The candidate will advise and partner with senior product business persons. Will manage a team of attorneys who advise on product review legal matters for launch or modification of product offerings for both Norton and LifeLock, including go-to-market aspects, and review, negotiate and draft agreements in the areas of inbound services or technology to support the product launch, and address all legal matters that relate to new and evolving business models and product offerings, including manufacturing, supply chain, etc. Provide legal timely and effective legal services to the Consumer Support, e-Commerce transactional and Consumer Services functions. Should have 15-20 years of relevant experience in the consumer software, hardware and identity theft protection industry of a corporate legal department and/or law firm and 5+ years management experience. JD degree from an accredited law school, excellent academic credentials, and admission to CA Bar is required. Should have solid technology licensing experience and knowledge of consumer product launch and go-to-market legal activities. Must have experience in regulatory consumer law, including CFPB, FTC, and working with credit related products and credit services, insurance, identity, security and privacy. Should have excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Should have the ability to identify, analyze and resolve complex legal issues, draft and negotiate complex transactions in a straightforward manner, and quickly evaluate and manage the balance of legal and business risk concerns, as well as supervise a team to do so. Should have excellent business judgment, ability to think strategically, make timely decisions and give practical, solution oriented and business oriented advice.
