Spring Internship- Consumer The candidate acts as the State's lawyer in all civil and criminal cases in the Supreme Court and is responsible for the general supervision of all criminal law enforcement in the State of New Hampshire. Represent the interests of the State in all civil cases naming the State or any of its agencies or officials as a party. In cases involving federal law, the Attorney General represents the State’s interests before the federal courts. The Attorney General is also the legal advisor to the Governor and more than 100 state agencies, boards, commissions and institutions. Interns have opportunities to assist with legal research and writing, observe legal proceedings, attend meetings and participate in a variety of activities in the department.
