Administrative Assistant/Paralegal The candidate will directly reports to the Administrative Counsel and provides support in Human Resources. Provide clerical, administrative, and paralegal aid to the Administrative Counsel and Director of Human Resources and requires attention to the attorney/client relationship and privilege as it is work of a sensitive and confidential nature. Primary duties and responsibilities will be to provide paralegal support to Administrative Counsel and clerical support to Human Resources on all problems controlled by the Administrative Office, including employment issues, contract issues, policy and procedural matters, management of outside counsel, and other legal tasks consistent with the management and administration of the Supreme Court. Provide legal research assistance to the Administrative Counsel; prepare written analysis on issues as asked by the Administrative Counsel and Human Resources; review, analyze, study, research, and annotate laws, court decision, documents, opinions, briefs, and related legal authorities; prepares email, correspondence, pleadings, spreadsheets, job descriptions, position postings, and other documents assigned; monitor deadlines, prioritize tasks, and need for action related to Legal/Human Resources problems. Assist with special projects as required by Administrative Director. Submission of a criminal background check is compulsory. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have certificate Program or Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies or equivalent job experience of 4+ years. Experience as part of a legal team providing service to a medium-to-large administrative or corporate entity/client is needed.
