Home Equity Processor The candidate will be responsible for entering residential consumer loan data into the loan origination system; obtaining, assembling, and verifying required loan documents and data for accuracy, and communicating with Loan Officers and Customers regarding the status of their applications and documentation requirements. Responsible for managing time-sensitive material and meeting deadlines; ordering, pipeline monitoring, and completing initial review of title searches and property evaluations. Preparing the loan for closing by coordinating with Loan Officers, Attorneys, Title Companies, Insurance Companies, Creditors, and Employers to gather the appropriate final information required to close. Identifying and analyzing challenges on pending closings and conferring with appropriate individuals to design solutions. Reviewing consumer loan pre-closing documentation for completeness. Promote the growth and prosperity of the bank by professionally servicing the needs of customers. Comprehensive understanding and implementation of all aspects of all loan policies and bank regulations. Process Consumer loan applications from application to approval, including regular customer contact. Ensure consumer loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates, and other relevant data. Evaluate a borrowerâ€™s profile to determine whether or not the borrower qualifies for the program applied for, including calculating qualifying income. Verify applicant credit, employment, and reserves; order additional documentation to complete the loan file. Review and analyze qualifying income documentation, property evaluations, assets, and credit reports. Order property evaluations, title searches, verifications, and any other items required for loan approval. Monitor outstanding title and property evaluation orders; request corrections, if needed. Review disclosures for completeness and compliance. Responsible for identifying any associated fraud alerts. Review and verify title, tax, insurance information, and all other documentation relative to the closing transaction, for accuracy and completeness. Responsible for scheduling the closing date with all parties. Clear closing conditions; prepare and send the closing packages to ensure closing dates are met. Accurately record disbursement requirements and requests. Manage pipelines to ensure timely execution of duties. Mails Commitment Letters, Notices of Incomplete and various Adverse Action letters to customers. Operate in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws. Cross-train in other areas of the department, as needed. Should have Two- to four-year degree in business or related field. Knowledge of real estate or real estate law is preferred. Must have 2+ years of mortgage or consumer processing or closing experience in either a bank or real estate paralegal environment. Should have knowledge of residential loan documents, laws, and regulations applicable to loan programs, closings, and real estate transfers.
