ProfileManager - Supply Chain Compliance The candidate will be responsible for routine matters and works on more complex matters with guidance from the Armament System Division’s General Counsel. Essential duties include: Reviews, drafts, and negotiates contractual agreements. Supports the Supply Chain function in negotiating, developing and maintaining contractual relationships. Provides assistance with supplier score card reviews and financial health checks. Effectively communicates issues and risks to internal and external stakeholders. Effectively explains and interprets contract language. Provides training to Supply Chain employees on substantive topics. Anticipates and mitigates potential problems within the Supply Chain function and develops strategies to avoid losses, costly litigation and reduces areas of potential risk. Keeps abreast of legal, legislative and regulatory changes that may affect the Supply Chain function and the Company. Works collaboratively with other departments (Program Mangers, Business Development, Contracts, Mission Assurance) to create and implement compliance-related initiatives, policies and processes. Represents the Company externally to customers, suppliers, competitors and government agencies. Serves as a resource to others in the Supply Chain function regarding specific areas of knowledge and fosters a collaborative working environment.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have B.A. / B.S. Degree. JD degree and/or MBA degree preferred. Should have 6-10 years of previous supply chain contracts experience (in a law firm, corporate legal department or U.S. Government agency). Admission to State and Federal Courts in Minnesota desired.
