A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its legal team in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Duties:

  • Client Representation: Provide strategic legal counsel to clients across various practice areas.

  • Contract Negotiations: Engage with local and state officials on transactional matters and agreements.
  • Case Management: Oversee assigned legal matters from inception to resolution.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of legal experience in litigation, transactional law, or a related field.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation abilities with a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active bar license in the State of Michigan.

Skills:

  • Legal research and writing proficiency.
  • Courtroom and trial preparation experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Contract drafting and negotiation expertise.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
