Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join its team in Stamford, CT.   • Duties:

    • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
    • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on various legal issues.
    • Prepare for and participate in federal and state court appearances.
    • Assist in all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and attendance.
    • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts as necessary.
    • Manage case files and maintain documentation.
  • Requirements:

    • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Admission to practice law in New York and New Jersey; admission in Connecticut is a plus.
    • 2-5 years of relevant experience in commercial, commercial foreclosures, and bankruptcy litigation.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Education and Certifications:

    • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Admission to practice law in New York and New Jersey is required; additional admission in Connecticut is helpful.
  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in legal research tools and software (Westlaw, LexisNexis, etc.).
    • Exceptional writing and drafting skills.
    • Strong advocacy skills and courtroom experience.
    • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear recommendations.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
