Paralegal/Legal Assistant The candidate will manage a significant component of a project involving insurance regulatory corporate filings in many jurisdictions throughout the USA. They will work integrally with lawyers on the Group team. Responsibilities include: Provide administrative/research support for the Group in-house counsel; Follow-up with contacts to state departments of insurance and other state agencies; Respond to various regulatory requests and inquiries related to the subject filings, involving gathering and drafting of requested materials; Track all activity related to the filings and posting the team on such activity; Research state law; draft and communicate results of research; Report analysis and resolution when necessary; Decision within assigned authority. Must be a certified Paralegal, or equivalent experience is required. Proven ability to work on a team or operate independently is required. Outstanding interpersonal, oral and written communication skills are needed. Experience in researching and accurately resolving technical subject matter while working under pressure and within time constraints is needed.
