Senior Director, Policy Management And Analysis The candidate will lead team of Policy directors responsible for developing firm government policy positions for science and regulatory policy, reimbursement policy, delivery system and payment reform policy (including quality), and health technology assessment policy. Design and lead the development and management of firm policy to advance firm' business interests, ensure consistency of approach across all franchises, while mitigating threats and risks to the business. Assesses the impact or value of pending regulatory or legislative measures. Closely collaborate with Senior Directors of Federal and State Government Affairs to ensure alignment of policy and advocacy activities, and create robust policy development initiatives. Lead coordination across AUS affiliates to ensure policy development, management, and analysis activities are executed consistently according to plan. Interacts with business and functional units in the development of business plans and viable external approaches. Lead regular collaboration with other firm functional groups (i.e. Corporate Affairs, Sales and Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Finance, M&D) to achieve business objectives. Partner with Federal and State Government Affairs to identify advocacy partners and initiate programs to build effective coalitions to support firm broader goals and objectives. Represent firm with key legislative, professional and nontraditional groups through participation on boards, speaking engagements, panels and committees. Prepares other members of firm leadership for such roles as needed. Develop and control department operating budget. Co-lead development of, and contribute content to, internal department publications. Should have 10-15 years of government strategy/policy experience, or in related fields. Must have an advanced degree such as a Juris Doctor, Masters in Public Health, Public Policy, Public Administration, Business Administration or a related field. Should have expertise in creating and developing government policy positions in a corporate setting.
