Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: JD Degree. 5 years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department including experience in drafting, negotiating and reviewing contracts with in depth knowledge of healthcare law. Current admission to practice law in state of practice.
Preferred: Prior experience working with or for an integrated healthcare delivery system. Experience in litigation management and professional liability.
In depth knowledge of healthcare law and risk management principles. Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications. Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to be a motivated self-starter and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment within a team. Strong customer service orientation and ability to demonstrate a high level of integrity. Ability to be flexible with varied assignments and willing to develop new areas of expertise.
