Assistant Operations Division Manager The candidate will serve in overseeing and supporting the Operations Division Manager. Will assist all general operations functions, including but not limited to, directing the Judiciary plans, programs, policies and procedures. Responsible for the management and supervision of several administrative units that are responsible for security, facilities (space allocation, renovations, relocations and maintenance), telecommunications systems and the support of court functions such as jury management, interpreting, transcripts, sound and video recording, record management and law and chamber libraries. Aid the Operations Division Manager in overseeing critical projects by working closely with the division managers, judges and other government entities, i.e. Sheriff, County Administrator and Facilities Supervisor. Preparing supervisory staff performance assessments; developing mentoring and coaching plans; recommending disciplinary and/or employee recognition actions; ensuring overall that the team leaders coordinate the work flow handled by staff in respective units; reviewing court activities for compliance with laws, court rules, and directives. Prioritizing work; monitoring work for completeness and accuracy; participating in formulating and developing goals and objectives for assigned units. Ensuring that the Assignment Judge, Trial Court Administrator, and the Operations Division Manager are well-informed of matters related to operations, court emergencies, and security issues. Manage court-related emergencies or crises such as weather-related closings and breaches of security, and developing the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), which establishes communications and response protocols to manage emergencies. Must have Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional administrative experience, one of which shall have included experience in purchasing, facilities management, operations, health and safety, jury management, interpreting services, courtroom technology, transcript services, records retention, video conferencing, and/or statistical reporting.
