Director - Compliance The candidate will be able to work independently in a fast past and constantly changing environment. Will handle matters across a variety of disciplines and work effectively with numerous business stakeholders. Will work closely with our General Counsel, Privacy Officer, Security Officer, and other members of the team across all levels of the organization. Healthc are experience, structured approach, and organization are critical for this role. Should have a combination of research experience and practical implementation and execution of compliance programs. Will direct report to the General Counsel. Will continuously re-asses and implement Compliance Program to ensure that all program elements are achieved in accordance with state and federal laws, rules and regulations governing compliance and data privacy and security. Leads annual risk assessment across all functional departments. Develops and manages policies and procedures in conjunction with functional departments. Will monitors and audits the compliance program to identify areas of improvement and to measure the effectiveness of the program. Other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have previous relevant experience, such as health care compliance department, law firm, or in-house experience in the healthcare industry. Should be able to identify, advise on, and minimize business risks and propose practical solutions. Demonstrate high integrity and excellent organizational and analytical skills. Should have the ability to work well both independently and with others in a matrix environment. Should have excellent judgment, strong influencing skills, and perseverance in investigating and policy execution. Should have ability to manage fast-paced workload and add value to multiple projects simultaneously. Self-starter who shows project ownership and enjoys working across departments. Should be able to keep abreast of compliance trends and be able to analyze regulations and industry guidance documents. Effectively present information and respond to inquiries from employees, clients, and regulators. Should have strong business and financial acumen and the ability to grasp business concepts and concerns quickly. Compliance training and experience, such as J.D. or compliance certifications, coupled with applicable industry experience in a law firm or corporate setting. Should have Master’s or Graduate Degree. Should have CHC or CHPC.
