Senior Legal Counsel Duties: Oversee all U.S. employment law matters, including hiring, terminations, workers comp settlement review, EEOC, ADA, FLSA, et al. Interact with the entire Human Resources team across the U.S., plant operations, and general managers of the business units. Actively supervise outside counsel and employment related litigation. Review and update compliance programs (FCPA, import/export, GDPR, credit documents). Contract review and drafting. Significant interaction with business persons at all levels of our organization. Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Member of Bar, certificate in good standing required. 6+ years of legal experience. Experience in a major law firm plus in-house experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required. Proven ability to interact with all levels of employees within a corporate environment. Able to structure complex projects efficiently and set/adjust priorities effectively.
