A law firm seeks an Entry-Level Attorney to join its team in Hunt Valley, MD. Duties:
- Conduct a thorough review of all preconditions required before initiating legal actions, such as analyzing loan documents, financial records, and demand letters.
- Draft and review legal pleadings and correspondence necessary for commencing legal actions.
- Ensure all internal systems are updated with accurate findings, documentation, and recommendations.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism in all tasks.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections where applicable.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and possess strong analytical skills.
- Intermediate to advanced-level proficiency in computer and general office software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present corrective action opportunities and recommendations.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Bar membership in Maryland is preferred; applicants awaiting results of the July exam will be considered.
