Job Overview:

A law firm seeks an Entry-Level Attorney to join its team in Hunt Valley, MD. This position offers a unique opportunity for a new attorney to gain exposure to a range of legal services, including creditors' rights and real estate matters at both the state and federal levels. Duties:

• Conduct a thorough review of all preconditions required before initiating legal actions, such as analyzing loan documents, financial records, and demand letters.
• Draft and review legal pleadings and correspondence necessary for commencing legal actions.
• Ensure all internal systems are updated with accurate findings, documentation, and recommendations.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism in all tasks.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections where applicable.

Requirements:

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and possess strong analytical skills.
• Intermediate to advanced-level proficiency in computer and general office software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present corrective action opportunities and recommendations.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Bar membership in Maryland is preferred; applicants awaiting results of the July exam will be considered.
