Staff Attorney Responsibilities: Litigate cases at the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and evaluate and mentor cases pending at the Board of Veterans’ Appeals. For cases at the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, will include representing appellants before the Court, reviewing the administrative record, conducting legal research, and drafting legal memoranda and briefs. For cases at the Board of Veterans’ Appeals, will include reviewing the administrative record, drafting memoranda, and mentoring pro bono attorneys.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Attorney in good standing and admitted to practice law; excellent research and writing skills; and strong academic background. 3+ years of experience in veterans’ law is strongly preferred.
