Duties:

  • Represent clients in ANDA-related litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive litigation strategies tailored to client objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on patent issues related to pharmaceuticals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including experts and co-counsel, to build robust cases.
  • Handle pretrial preparation, including depositions, expert witness examinations, and trial advocacy.
  • Maintain client relationships by providing strategic advice and clear communication.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and case law developments in pharmaceutical patent litigation.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in patent litigation, with an emphasis on ANDA matters.
  • Proven track record in courtroom advocacy and managing complex cases.
  • Strong academic background demonstrating intellectual rigor and legal acumen.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical information for diverse audiences.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • An undergraduate or advanced degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline (preferred).

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in at least one . jurisdiction.
  • Admission to the Washington, DC Bar (or eligibility for admission).
