Employment Attorney
Responsibilities: Provide advice and counsel to HR professionals located throughout the country; manage outside counsel handling employment and other consumer/commercial litigation support HR personnel with federal and state agency investigations (EEO, wage and hour); conduct training on HR legal developments; review employee disciplinary matters; interpret HR policies; analyze personnel restructurings; assist with internal investigations; resolve disputes with counter-parties; and handle various issues requiring employment law expertise.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: JD Degree from a top tier law school. Bar membership in good standing. 3-7 years of full-time legal practice, with a preference for in-house counsel and public company experience. Experience in FLSA, OSHA, NLRA, immigration, or leave administration is a plus. Advanced knowledge of federal and state employment laws. Exemplary written and oral communication skills. Strong work ethic, ownership and goal-oriented mentality, entrepreneurial zeal, and intellectual curiosity. Robust interpersonal skills—self-aware, accountable, and empathetic. Passion for the practice of law. Demonstrated ability to take initiative, innovate, and develop and implement solutions. Keen attention to detail. Exceptional organizational skills. Experience in FLSA, OSHA, NLRA, immigration, or leave administration is a plus.
