We’re a very busy, growing law office in Fort Myers, Florida, dedicated to helping people achieve their estate planning goals. We’re looking for an exceptional, self-motivated person for a full-time legal assistant position. Duties will include drafting estate planning documents using estate planning software, attend document signing meetings, data entry of client information, proofreading estate planning documents. Position requires strong ability to proofread, organize, prioritize, track tasks and multi-task as well as a commit to our team. Strong professional written and verbal communication skills. Must be proficient in Word 2016, Excel, Outlook and type a min. of 50 wpm. We offer a competitive salary and benefits. Must be comfortable learning new software applications and self-initiating.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Follow our process using our software

·         Act as witness during signing meetings

·         Draft estate plan documents using software 

·         Maintain and update electronic files

·         Extreme attention to detail required

·         This position has growth potential

REQUIREMENTS:

Affable and warm personality; professional appearance with office attire; at least 2 years college or an equivalent combination of experience and training. At least three years of relevant administrative office experience; legal office experience preferred. Expertise with Word 2016 is a necessity.  Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint software are a definite plus. Ability to learn new software easily; a people person.

This is a full-time position, five days a week, 9-5:30 daily; must be ready to work no later than 9 AM.
