Vice President, Assistant General Counsel, Litigation and Claims The candidate for Claims and Litigation, serves in the capacity of legal expert for matters pertaining to contractual disputes, and formal claims and litigation brought against Parsons by third parties and parties having a contractual relationship with Parsons. Primary responsibilities will include Identifying and analyzing contractual and legal issues related to a disputes or formal claims, and handle all litigation and disputes and negotiate settlements on behalf of the company. Develop strategies for protecting the companies interests and provide updates to insurers and management regarding the status of disputes. Manage and direct external legal counsel. Should have Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, fully accredited by the American Bar Association. Must be licensed to practice law in good standing with the Bar of at least one state, willing and able to become licensed in other states as needed. Should have JD degree and 15+ years of broad and diversified experience in corporate law and/or a major law firm. Experience in engineering, construction, or technical services industry required.
