ProfileTax Accountant, International Tax Services The candidate will analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine tax liability for an organization. Will work on teams to support clients’ cross-border transactions and assess their international tax strategies. Will advise clients on long-range tax plans. Advise management about tax strategies and issues. Will analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice. Will compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Tax, Law, Finance or related, plus 2 years of related work experience; OR Master's degree in Accounting, Business, Tax, Law, Finance or related, plus 1 year of related work experience. Must have 1 year of experience performing tax compliance and consulting. Must have 1 year of experience in inbound and outbound transaction consulting, multi-national corporation experience, Operating Model Effectiveness (OME), foreign tax credit planning, and effective tax rate minimization. Must have 1 year of experience international income taxation, including relevant experience with large cross border transactions involving multinational companies or private equity funds. Must meet one of the following criteria: Active CPA certification or foreign equivalent; CFA; CFE; Sufficient educational/experience requirements (as determined by state Board of Accountancy) to receive CPA certification within one year of hire/promotion; member of the state bar; or Enrolled Agent certification. Must Travel required approximately 50%, of which 10% is international.
