ProfileTax Manager Duties: Work with both clients and the firm's staff to identify, analyze and resolve tax issues. Provide timely preparation, review, and delivery of tax returns to clients. Be proficient in the use of tax preparation and paperless workpaper software.Provide training and technical support to the tax seniors and staff on preparation questions. Serve as a key liaison between the Firm and clients.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Must be a CPA, JD Degree or EA. 7+ years of public accounting experience in the area of taxation. Should have some exposure to nonprofit tax returns. Strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and the ability to exhibit sound judgment when dealing with client issues. Strong oral and written communication skills are also required. Strong tax preparation experience who is excited about learning the technical nuances of portfolio of national nonprofit clients will be an excellent candidate for this position.
