ProfileTax Attorney The candidate will be supporting the cross-functional team that manages third-party corporate acquisitions by helping develop tax structures, coordinate tax due diligence performed by external advisors, drafting the tax provisions of contracts, and planning for the integration of acquisitions. Will be evaluating the tax costs and benefits of corporate transactions and investments. Will be working with the tax planning team and other stakeholders to plan and execute internal restructuring transactions. Will be developing strong working relationships among cross-functional teams, including Corporate and Legal Affairs, Corporate Development, Treasury, Corporate Accounting, and Venture Integration.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have 4-8 years of complex federal income tax planning experience required, with international tax experience. Must have JD (juris doctor), with an LLM or MBA a plus. Hsould have experience managing complex tax matters at a law firm, Big Four accounting firm and/or a large multinational corporate environment preferred. Must be highly motivated, hard-working, and able to deliver in a fast-paced environment. Should have excellent tax research and writing skills. Should have effective interpersonal skills, including persuasive written and oral communication skills.
