ProfileTax Senior Associate The candidate will be preparing complex Tax returns – approximately 25-40% of your time. Will develop, motivate, and train staff level and intern team members – approximately 10% of your time. Will detailed review and analysis of Tax returns – approximately 10-15%. will interact directly with clients handling questions, planning, concerns, etc. Will be performing, documenting, and summarizing research and conclusions regarding specific tax issues – approximately 10% of your time. Will remain up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have BA/BS Degree – preferably in Accounting or related field of study. Must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam –or a licensed JD. Should have minimum of 2 years of experience in a public accounting environment. Must have ability to work closely with clients to answer questions or to collect necessary information for tax service requirements. Should have experience preparing and reviewing returns. Should have efective verbal and written communication skills. Should have masters of Accounting, CPA, JD, LLM, or EA. Should have working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance. Should have strong technical skills in accounting and tax preparation, review experience. Should have experience in dealing with international tax matters.
