TPDG Manager Duties: Works with clients on large tax engagements which require a team of specialists with deep tax technical knowledge and experience in key federal tax areas. Identify permanent cash tax savings and refund opportunities, consider the impact of deductions and credits on your effective tax rate, and apply established methodologies and processes to complex areas of taxation, helping ensure consistency year over year.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree. CPA, Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar. 5+ Years of Experience. Knowledge of fixed asset depreciation schedules and the ability to properly apply recovery periods for different types of property. Knowledge of identifying between personal and real property and applying the appropriate depreciation schedules for each type. Knowledge of Form 3115, an application for Change of Accounting Methods. Technical skills with Accelerated Cost Recovery Systems (ACRS) and Modified Accelerated Cost Recovery Systems (MACRS). Experience identifying and addressing client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials. Experience as a team leader: supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
