Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Candidates must be licensed in Georgia. 2+ years legal experience after law school graduation is strongly preferred. Excellent legal writing skills, analysis, advocacy and work ethic are required. Regular networking, relationship-building and being a strong representative of Aid and mission. Strong communication and listening skills, ability to work in a team and alone, adaptability to changing work pressures, and appreciation of diverse staff and clientele are required. Demonstrated commitment to public service, participation in law school clinics, pro bono projects, familiarity with areas of poverty law, and previous work with low-income persons is strongly preferred.
