Patent Associate The candidate will perform a broad range of legal functions in Intellectual Property Practice Group. Additionally, once the candidate demonstrates a high level of proficiency in all aspects of the practice, the attorney will have the option of choosing any of company’s other offices as a primary office. Should have 3+ years of patent prosecution experience. Candidates with a bachelor of science in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or mechanical engineering (or similar) are preferred. Other intellectual property or business experience is also preferred in the areas of engineering, patent prosecution and technology licensing. Must be admitted to the Patent Bar. Must excel in team environment and have the personality to develop and implement networking skills both externally and internally. Must be a highly motivated self-starter, with excellent business judgment and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Should have excellent law school and undergrad credentials and references.
