Flex Client Development Manager Responsibilities : The candidate shall be identifying and developing new client development prospects in assigned verticals, industries, or other categories, as assigned. Shall be developing and managing Fenwick partner referrals. Shall be explaining/pitching the FLEX business model to partners and clients. Shall determining clients legal needs and proposing FLEX-recommended staffing solutions. Negotiating price and contract terms. Managing client and attorney relationships throughout the engagement lifecycle. Developing relationships with existing and prior clients to develop new client opportunities. Representing FLEX at networking and other external events. Collaborating with Marketing to develop client marketing materials. Collaborating with Attorney Development to develop hiring profiles to match client needs, and interviewing and evaluating attorney candidates. Developing and executing on agreed-upon yearly goals and metrics. Tracking and reporting relevant client development metrics. Effectively using the ATS/CRM tools to track and monitor client leads and potential and active engagements. Performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements : The candidate shall have extensive knowledge of the legal industry and legal practice areas, especially in the context of technology and life sciences companies. Strong client service ethic, outstanding interpersonal skills, and an uncanny ability to understand a client’s business and legal needs. Exceptional attentive and active listening skills and the ability to effectively advise clients and provide feedback to attorneys.
