ProfileSalt Lake City office of our client seeks mid-level ERISA attorney with 3-5 years of experience in a broad range of employee benefits matters, including design and implementation of qualified retirement plans, ERISA fiduciary rules and welfare benefit plan compliance issues. The candidate will serve in employee benefit plan drafting and review, evaluating compliance with applicable laws and regulations, advising plan fiduciaries and negotiating agreements with other plan service providers. Must have a good general working knowledge of ERISA. Experience with the benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions and issues involving benefit and executive compensation plans, including ESOPs and VEBAs, is desirable. Should have strong prior benefit plan experience with a major law firm.
