ProfileDirector of Creative and Marketing Technology RESPONSIBILITIES: Annually craft and refresh a holistic systems plan. Identify and implement efficiencies for the management of information to allow for real-time support of local business development activities. Work with IT to help eliminate data entry duplication, streamline data migration and sharing across all platforms. Work with the communications team to promote the usage of the department’s various systems. Lead the deployment, promotion and rollout of our new Intranet. Interface with members of IT and other departments, practice groups and offices on the development of their pages on the site. Develop and implement a plan for maintaining the site as well as year over year innovations. Pay special attention to the user experience from the perspectives of each employee. Lead efforts to deploy a new website (jenner.com) in 2018. Interface and manage our external vendors and internal IT staff. Working with our Manager of Alumni Relations, deploy an alumni portal (most likely in Vuture) to aid in building ties with firm’s alumni. Lead the planning and maintenance of our CRM system (InterAction) accounting for the refinement of mailing lists, elimination of duplication in the system and utilization of our CRM for business development purposes. Coordinate efforts of the entire team and identify additional firm resources to help with keeping our data clean. Lead the planning and maintenance of our ERM. Ensure that the connectivity between the ERM and our accounting system is working properly and duplication or other issues are repaired. Lead the planning and maintenance of our digital email promotion (done through Vuture). Work with the business development, communications and intelligence teams to craft infographics pulling from our various databanks including number of trials, cases, deals, pro bono hours and work, media coverage and share of voice. Responsible for keeping our content in all of our systems up to date. Working with the communications team to develop campaigns to ensure accuracy and relevance of our information. Create campaigns to internally promote the firm’s brand including showing the family of ads, forms and templates (PowerPoint, Word, etc.). Develop ways in which our information (practice/office/department descriptions, biographies and pitch materials) can be printed on demand in each office. Work with the firm’s training department and our communications team to help reinforce brand and identity compliance. Lead the design team to develop creative and sophisticated ways to display the firm’s information that will “speak” to the needs of our clients and get noticed (including using letterhead, business cards, folders, practice and office descriptions, etc.) and maintain the firm’s sophisticated and clean look.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have an advanced degree, preferably an MBA or JD Degree, or equivalent work experience, with 5+ years of marketing experience in a professional services industry. Offer proactive planning and opportunity spotting. Must be highly organized and possess strong creative abilities. Strong verbal and written skills. Able to manage competing deadlines and wrangle very busy partners. Must be able to work with higher levels of firm management and work well as part of a team. Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effort. Savvy technological skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). Self-starter, motivated individual willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. Solid team player with ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team. Ability to direct work effort and mentor peers and subordinates. Analytical in the formulation and solution of problems. Must demonstrate an ability to work both independently and take direction as required. Exhibit credible personal presence and confidence. Quickly understand the Firm’s goals, service, culture and strategy. Excellent trouble-shooting skills.
