Commercial Real Estate Attorney The candidate will provide support/assistance to attorney in areas as outlined below, while using knowledge and experience of commercial real estate law. Commercial Real Estate Transactions – acquisitions, sales, financing (including but not limited to review and draft of contracts and various agreements. Review of loan documents, due diligence, title/survey review, and financing including carrying through pre-closing checklists up until and post-closing). Preparation of various corporate documents. Commercial Leasing (analyze, draft, lease review, redline, lease abstracts, letters to tenants, and other notices). Landlord Tenant law (knowledge and assist with drafting notices, petitions, demands, notices and other necessary paperwork). Basic draft of Commercial Agreements (including license agreements, operating agreements, buyout & surrender agreements and other documents). Litigation (knowledge and basic drafting of pleadings, petitions, motions and drafting other litigation related papers). Must be able to review, redline and make changes to legal documents. 1-2 years of experience working in commercial real estate transactions, leasing and general corporate work required. Litigation experience is a plus. Sound analytical and critical thinking abilities upon which advanced skills could be developed with additional time and experience required. Excellent organizational and administrative skills, including performing duties accurately and in a timely manner required. Very strong communication skills (verbal and written), organizational and communication skills including ability to take direction and work effectively with minimal supervision required. Advanced skills with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to quickly master a variety of software platforms and electronic filing systems required.
