ProfileAttorney Duties: Conducts legal research and provide legal services on a wide variety of issues under personal injury law matters, including motor vehicle cases, slip and fall cases, medical malpractice cases, wrongful death cases, etc. Draft demand packages, review medical records and communicate with insurance companies to obtain settlements for clients. May assist more senior attorneys in highly complex medical malpractice and wrongful death cases. Assist on other miscellaneous legal matters as needed. Work one on one with clients.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: JD Degree from an accredited law school. Admitted to and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar. Admission to and in good standing with the New Jersey Bar is preferred, but not required. 0-10 years of legal experience. Personal injury experience, a plus. Trial experience, a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools and applicable software. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, strong research skills, ability to provide concise oral and written advice to clients. In addition, the candidate will have a demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of the firm, including legal assistants, paralegals, other associate attorneys and managing attorneys. Willingness to work extended hours to ensure that all work is complete. Able to work in a fast pace environment. Desired: Focused on getting the best possible outcome for clients. Detail-oriented, analytical, inquisitive, problem-solving in nature and organized. A team player capable of working effectively with other individuals throughout the firm.
