ProfileEntry Level Associate Attorney Responsibilities : The candidate will be drafting pleadings, briefs, memos, demand letters, and discovery requests/responses. Conducting legal research. Conducting investigative work, including locating, interviewing, and working with expert witnesses. Attending and covering administrative hearings, motion hearings, minor settlement hearings, WC lien hearings, and various other court appearances. Assist in preparation for mediations and depositions, estate and guardianship matters, and back end issues including subrogation claims, Medicaid dispute filings/hearings, structures, special needs trusts, etc. Preparing for and participating in trials. Other attorney-level tasks as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements : The candidate should have a current license to practice law in North Carolina. Personal Injury Experience preferred. Good communication skills with an emphasis on high-quality client service. Ability to manage a high volume caseload in an efficient manner in a collaborative environment.
