Associate Attorney Responsibilities : The candidate will pursue cases in keeping with the firm’s successful track record. Draft and prepare Pleadings, Responses, Subpoenas, letters, proposed Orders, Disclosure, respond to Discovery, calendar, perform legal research using Findlaw/West Law search engine, to draft and prepare Default, Enforcement and Show Cause Pleadings and Responses and to litigate the client’s matter before the court.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: The candidate should be currently licensed to practice law in the state of Arizona and must have been licensed to practice law for at least the preceding 5 years - with the last 3 of those years being licensed in Arizona (being licensed also in Texas is a Plus). 3+ years Courtroom experience in Arizona. Must be willing to manage a paper and electronic file; input their time into a client billing system; meet with clients, direct the support staff, prepare for and attend local court hearings (and other local areas) and prepare for and attend final trials. Must be familiar with the Arizona Statutes in the areas of law that the firm practices. Must be knowledgeable of the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure - Federal practice experience is a plus.
