ProfileAttorney Duties: The competent, ethical, and diligent representation of clients in all cases assigned by supervisor involving all areas of tort practice, mild to moderate injuries and/or damages, including preparation of pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs, attendance at hearings, conferences, interviews, trials or arbitrations, and performance of any other tasks or duties necessary for the proper representation of clients. Handling matters of low to moderate complexity and/or exposure, and may assist in the handling of cases assigned to other attorneys. Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, JD Degree, and a member in good standing of the Florida State Bar. 1+ year of relevant civil litigation and/or personal injury/insurance defense experience. Experience with computerized litigation support systems including case management computer programs a must. Civil trial experience a plus. The ability to handle bodily injury cases of low to moderate exposure and/or complexity with minimum supervision. Public speaking, ability to function and handle high case loads in adversarial or confrontational situations, driving.
