Litigation Attorney The candidate will be responsible for reviewing files as they are assigned, developing and communicating strategy, preparing pleadings and discovery requests. Responsible for reviewing files as they are assigned and developing strategies for handling files, communicating strategies to clients, preparing and previewing pleadings and communicating same with clients. Responsible for preparing and answering discovery requests, motions and briefs. Responsible for attending hearings, preparing and communicating case status reports, and preparing billing reports. Responsible for managing junior attorney, advising in civil procedure, strategy, and substance. Perform other related duties as assigned. Must be Barred in Maryland and at least one of: DC, VA, DE. A Bachelor degree and Juris Doctor required. Should have 7 years of legal practice experience required, including experience in foreclosure, title, and eviction law. Must have demonstrated high level of ability to perform research and efficiently and effectively communicate results both verbally and written, including publication. Should have appellate experience.
