PSEGLI Process Analyst The candidate primary role is to support the development, analysis, implementation, and reporting for a growing, high priority, world class-supplier diversity program. Other roles include evaluating, analyzing, and providing technical services and project leadership to support Procurement Long Island and the Procurement Governance groups. Leads and facilitates procurement process improvement teams. Assists in collection and evaluation of sourcing data to support Procurement processes. Evaluates existing operational processes to identity improvement opportunities. Will participate in cross-functional teams, assisting with the evaluation and analysis of data. Participates in the evaluation of existing and the creation of new procurement practices and procedures. Leads and coordinates the efforts of Subject Matter Experts in support of SAP or other system enhancements including: analysis and requirements gathering; review of functional specifications, system testing; training and implementation.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in Business. Must have 7+ years of progressive experience in analytical positions performing business analysis, project management, process management, data analysis, and/or continuous improvement activities. Experience developing, analyzing, and reporting on supplier diversity programs is preferred. Must have Bachelor's degree in Math, Engineering, Supply Chain or other technical field. MBA or other graduate degree (e.g., J.D.) is needed. Should have Lean Six Sigma, CPSD, CPSM, PMP, or other professional education / certification. Must have SAP, Ariba, and e-procurement applications knowledge. Knowledge of NY State Executive Law Articles 15-A and 17-B (Minority and Women Owned Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business programs) is desired. Must have intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Ability: Ability to analyze data and synthesize insightful conclusions and recommendations. Ability to work independently and in teams to deliver results. Understanding of procurement, supply chain, and / or project management processes. Ability to quickly grasp and use technical solutions and concepts.
